Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: To provide information about how patient examination is carried out in the field of dentistry, what is paid attention to and how all data obtained from the patient is recorded.
Course Content: Providing information about how the patient is examined in the clinic, the clinic layout, patient admission, and the content of the data obtained from the patient and the recording systems (automation systems) of these data.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Gain knowledge about basic patient examination concepts.
2) Information is obtained about patient admission.
3) Gain knowledge about patient record systems.
4) Able to maintain accurate and complete records of patient data.
5) Able to keep track of hospital services processed on behalf of the patient, records of medications or medical supplies used, and patient expense information.
