Course Objectives: | Main objective of the course is to develop students' skills in designing algorithms, analysing algorithms and creating algorithms by giving them the ability to think abstractly on the basis of software development. Within the scope of the course, it is also aimed that the students will gain the ability to program and create computer programs at a basic level with the C programming language, which will be explained to them, and they are expected to use these skills in solving possible programmatic problems they will encounter. |
Course Content: | Introduction to programming concepts and solving problems. Control structures: Condition blocks and loops. Functions and modular programming. Arrays, lists and basic data structures. Object oriented programming: Classes, objects, inheritance and polymorphism. Exception handling. File operations. Using libraries and APIs. Software development applications. Final project. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Understanding of programming principles and capabilities. 2) Developing simple programming techniques and problem solving skills. 3) Develop algorithmic solutions using basic data structures. 4) Understanding the basics of object oriented programming. |
