Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: To have knowledge about basic physics laws and applications. To learn mechanics, which examines the relationship between force, matter and motion. To be able to solve problems that may be encountered in daily life and engineering by turning them into simple physics questions.
Course Content: Physical quantities, measurement, vectors, motion in one and two dimensions, Newton's laws of motion, friction force and other applications of Newton's Laws, work and energy, linear momentum and collisions.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Learning about physical quantities, unit systems, vectors, work, energy, impulse, and momentum.
2) Learning the meaning of the basic laws of mechanics and how to apply these laws to solve problems.
3) Developing the ability to think and ask questions about physics.
4) Gaining the ability to apply physics and mathematics knowledge
5) Reconciling the laws of physics with natural events
