Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course; To provide students with basic theoretical and practical information about massage techniques, to ensure that they learn the basic concepts in terms of evaluation and application in different situations where massage is used, to develop application skills and to develop problem-solving skills regarding these issues in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Course Content: Mechanical, physiological, psychological and reflex effects of specific massage techniques, evaluation methods to be used to determine effectiveness after application, practical applications, indications and contraindications of these methods.
