Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is for students to acquire knowledge about the diseases they may encounter in their patients during physiotherapy and rehabilitation practice, to integrate symptoms and signs, predict complications, and gain information about general treatment approaches.
Course Content: This course covers theoretical knowledge about rheumatological problems, orthopedic problems, internal medicine, neurological diseases, and gynecological diseases, aiming to facilitate the creation of a more beneficial rehabilitation program for patients.

1) Ability to define various diseases
2) Recognition, assessment, and detection of the pathophysiological findings caused by diseases
3) Ability to transfer acquired theoretical knowledge into a clinical setting
4) Recalling theoretical knowledge related to the development of rehabilitation programs for diseases
5) Defining clinical problems in a way that directs physiotherapy intervention
6) Ability to ask appropriate questions relevant to the clinical problem
7) Associating physiotherapy approaches with clinical problems
