Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to provide students with basic concepts in radiology, basic topics in radiography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, and general knowledge in extremities, spine and thorax radiology.
Course Content: This course includes basic concepts in radiology, basic topics in radiography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, extremities, spine and thorax radiology.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Ability to define basic concepts in radiology
2) To be able to explain the basic evaluation in chest radiography
3) Ability to classify imaging techniques specific to extremities
4) Ability to list imaging techniques for soft tissue
5) Ability to explain basic imaging techniques used in spine evaluation
