Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) techniques; To ensure that PNF techniques are learned and practice skills by providing information about their basic principles, mechanisms of action and techniques.
Course Content: Basic principles and mechanisms of action of PNF techniques, ways of using PNF techniques in different exercise applications and being able to decide on the appropriate PNF technique for the purpose.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Ability to choose and apply the appropriate Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) technique for different clinical problems.
2) Ability to learn how to use PNF techniques in different exercise applications
3) Ability to explain the basic principles and mechanisms of action of PNF techniques
