Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: Provides descriptions of the important organizational concepts in business and practices, highlights the current changes in the global business environment, and equips students with the skills and tools required for their career.
Course Content: Focusing on the system of free competition and businesses, this course examines the role businesses play in society, along with their purposes and responsibilities. It aims to give students a comprehensive overview of the activities necessary for businesses to produce goods and services, covering the fundamentals of management and major business functions such as marketing, finance, production, and service. Additionally, it addresses essential business topics like institutionalization and international operations.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Explains the basic concepts of business and relates businesses to their economic, social and political environments.
2) Defines the business's objectives, responsibilities and business ethics and compares the functions of the business and the relationships between them.
3) Gains knowledge about the functions of the business.
4) Gains knowledge about the establishment, growth, types and economic activities of businesses.
