Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives:

The aim of this course is to understand and comprehend the issues that constitute the infrastructure of macroeconomics and macroeconomic balance, as well as total consumption, total demand, aggregate supply, taggregate savings and aggregate investment, inflation, unemployment.
Course Content: Today's macroeconomic discussion topics: economic growth, expectations, economic policy will be examined within the framework of theory and applied policies.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Explain the basic concepts and assumptions in macroeconomic theory.
2) Should be able to interpret economic data.
3) Explain the link between macroeconomics and current life.
4) Be able to interpret the macroeconomic consequences of various policy implementations.
5) To be able to explain the concept of national income and its calculation methods.
6) Should be able to explain the relationship between monetary system and inflation.
