Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: The first thing that is expected from the student who will do an office internship is to have the opportunity to practice to increase his skills and experience in line with the information he received in architectural design courses at the University. However, during the office internship, you will be able to see real architectural design and project applications on site and It is essential to acquire new knowledge and skills by engaging in interdisciplinary activities. Another purpose of the office internship is to guide interns about the jobs they can do in their professional lives and the areas they can work in.
Course Content: General activities carried out in the office, design made by the student personally, drawing, model etc. Architecture related activities such as

1) Having comprehensive knowledge about the processes and operations in architectural offices
2) To have comprehensive knowledge about the internal layouts, functioning and interaction of architectural offices with external parties.
3) Gain the ability to produce solutions by experiencing problems that may occur inside and outside the office
4) To gain experience by being informed about the order of the office hierarchy and communication management.
