Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: To give students insight into the significance of public space, to help them interpret research findings and produce most coherent design solutions.
Course Content: This studio work focuses on spatial solutions on an urban scale. Interpreting the data of public space, creating solution alternatives to the problematic points of the city by using different functions and space series, and constructing a medium-sized health center are the main objectives of this project.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Can analyze urban and public spaces
2) Can evaluate urban texture
3) Can produce integrated design solutions using conventional and new approaches and tools
4) Ability to produce architectural solutions for healthcare services in the city
