Course Objectives: | To learn basic information about patients with symptoms such as balance disorder and/or vertigo. |

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To be able to evaluate the functioning and mechanisms in the vestibular system 2) To be able to explain the anatomy and physiology of the vestibular system 3) To be able to describe the working principles of the peripheral vestibular system 4) To be able to define the basic terminology of the vestibular system 5) To be able to search basic information about the mechanisms of peripheral vestibular diseases. 6) To be able to describe in detail the clinical findings of common diseases such as Meniere's, BPPV, vestibular migraine and neurinitis. 7) To be able to discuss central vestibular diseases and mechanisms 8) To be able to describe the main features of central vestibular pathologies 9) Systemic, metabolic etc. To be able to describe the main features of vestibular pathologies 10) To be able to define positional tests and interpret the results |
