Course Objectives: | In this course, it is aimed to understand the biological and physiological processes of aging and to determine the appropriate audiological approach on its effects. |

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To be able to have information about the neurophysiology of aging, definitions and concepts related to aging. 2) To be able to describe the changes that occur in the auditory system with age 3) To be able to detect and clinical management of presbycusis disease 4) To be able to determine the appropriate audiological test battery used when evaluating the elderly 5) To be able to comprehend the points to be considered in hearing aid and rehabilitation applications for the elderly |
