1) Ergenlik dönemini tanıyabilmeli 2) Ergenlik döneminde gelişen problemlerin, gelişimsel süreçten mi yoksa patolojik bir durumdan mı kaynaklandığının ayrımına varabilmeli 3) Ergen bir bireye nasıl yaklaşılması gerektiğini kritize edebilmeli 4) Yetişkinlik döneminin gelişimsel krizleri hakkında fikir sahibi olmalı, çevresindeki yetişkinlerin bu süreçlerini kendi zihnide anlamlandırabilmeli 5) Yaşlıların yaşadığı gelişimsel süreçlere ve ölüm kaygısına ilişkin empati becerisi kazanmalı, bu farkındalık becerisi ile çevresindeki yaşlılara daha özenli yaklaşabilmeli |
