Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: In the field of medical terminology, it is to learn the meanings, pronunciations and spellings of frequently used terms related to the systems that make up the body.
Course Content: History of medical terminology, rules regarding the writing and pronunciation of terms, frequently used prefixes and suffixes, basic terms related to the systems of the human body, symptom and diagnostic terms.
