Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives:  To introduce the syntax features of the Turkish language with its main lines; improve text analysis skills; To gain the ability to use
Turkish correctly and beautifully.
Course Content:  This course consists of syntax, word groups, sentence, intra- and extrasentential elements, types of sentence, sentence analysis
on various texts, analysis of texts in violation of language rules, ambiguity at the sentence level, types of written expression and
types of oral expression.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To be able to comprehend the syntax characteristics of Turkish
2) To be able to understand the characteristics of Turkish regarding the sentence structure, to determine the types of sentences
3) To be able to form a correct and understandable sentence
4) To be able to gain the ability to analyze sentences on different texts
5) To be able to identify communication problems caused by narrative disorder
6) To be able to comprehend the characteristics of the Turkish language in scientific writings
7) To be able to comprehend the characteristics of written and oral expression types
