Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: To learn the tools, equipment and materials used in the dentistry clinic.
Course Content: To learn the names, usage areas and maintenance of tools, equipment and materials used in dentistry, conservative dental treatment, endodontics, prosthesis, surgery, periodontology, implantology, radiology clinics.
To understand the points to be considered while using these tools and equipment.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Able to use tools and materials used in the dentistry clinic
2) Able to recognize the tools and equipment used in the dentistry clinic.
3) Able to maintain the tools and equipment used in the dentistry clinic.
4) Able to distinguish the specific properties of tools, equipment and materials used in different clinical areas.
5) To be able to learn the principles of use of clinical tools, equipment and materials, in order to avoid the possible harmful effects of them.
