Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: This course aims to provide information about food safety risks and precautions that can be taken at critical control points against these risks, quality, basic concepts, principles and methods of food quality control, control cards, total quality management, quality management systems, food quality and safety management systems.
Course Content: This course covers discussion of food safety risks and precautions that can be taken at critical control points against these risks, quality, basic concepts, principles and methods of food quality control, control cards, total quality management, quality management systems, food quality and safety management systems in the light of current literature.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Ability to follow resources containing basic and up-to-date information on food safety
2) To have knowledge about food safety risks and the precautions that can be taken at critical control points against these risks.
