Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: It aims to teach how to apply general management and business issues in pharmacy businesses, the basic regulations that will be needed during pharmacy practice, the management of pharmacy businesses and professional ethical principles that will guide during professional practices.
Course Content: Within the scope of this course, students;
1. Be able to explain management and management related components,
2. To learn and know the laws and regulations that must be followed while opening and operating a pharmacy. Must have knowledge of laws, regulations and guidelines related to drug production,
3. Must have knowledge about pharmacy management,
4. Gain awareness on the importance of time management and use while providing pharmacy services
5. To be able to understand the laws and regulations related to drugs and pharmacy and to define labor law,
6. Knowing the basic laws that will be required while providing pharmacy services in a hospital environment, should be able to comprehend which laws should be applied for which issue and problem.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Explain the scope of management and administration.
2) It is necessary to learn and know the laws and regulations that must be followed in opening and operating a pharmacy, and should be informed about the laws, regulations and guides related to drug production.

16) Provides consultancy on medicinal plants, herbal supplements and food supplements.
