The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Has approaches related to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases that occur in the mouth, teeth and tooth-like tissues and jaw and surrounding tissues. 2) Takes medical and dental history (anamnesis) from the patient and/or patient's relatives, examines the mouth, teeth, jaw and surrounding tissues and tooth-like structures. 3) Obtains informed consent to identify health problems and traumas of mouth, teeth, tooth-like tissues, jaw, and surrounding tissues, analyze and interpret findings, and guide to treatment, applies basic diagnostic tests and interventions, and consults with other branches when necessary. 4) Makes a clinical diagnosis by evaluating anamnesis, clinical examination, and tests. 5) He/she creates a treatment plan with the participation of the patient and/or the patient's relatives and refers him/her to the specialist in cases requiring advanced and complicated surgery. |
