Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course is to learn , carbohydrates, history of pharmacognosy, cyanogenic heterosides, anthracene heterosides, flavonoids, saponins, cardiotonic heterosides and other heterosides found in natural sources.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) At the end of the course, the student must be able to recognize carbohydrates, cyanogenic heterosides, anthracene heterosides, flavonoids, saponins, cardiotonic heterosides and other heterosides found in natural sources, must know the history of pharmacognosy. Pharmacists must be trained who open to scientific developments in pharmacy and related fields, can combine their knowledge and creativity, have acquired experimental skills at a high level, contribute to society and industry in education, research and practice.
