Course Objectives: | This course will provide a very important foundation for healthcare professionals. The purpose of this course is to provide students with a comprehensive overview of the structure and function of the human body. |
Course Content: | This lesson includes introduction to anatomy and terminology, bones, joints, muscles, nervous system, endocrine system, circulatory system, respiratory system, digestive system, urinary system and genital system, and sensory organs. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Ability to distinguish and describe the main structures of the human body 2) Ability to discuss the structural arrangement and function of each system of the human body 3) Ability to use anatomy knowledge to solve questions about the function of body parts 4) Ability to identify structures in the upper and lower extremities 5) Ability to identify organs within the thoracic cavity 6) Ability to define the parts and functions of the digestive system 7) Ability to define the organs of the genitourinary system 8) Ability to define the parts and functions of the central nervous system 9) Ability to identify structures related to the eye and ear 10) Ability to define vestibular, reticular and limbic systems |
