Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is for students to have detailed information about energy metabolism, to learn about energy metabolism in exercise and different conditions, and to discuss current information in the literature.
Course Content: Energy metabolism includes energy systems, resources in energy systems, and the effects of nutrition on energy metabolism.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Ability to learn the definition of energy and energy metabolism.
2) Ability to define energy sources and forms found in nature.
3) Ability to know energy systems in detail.
4) To understand energy metabolism during rest and exercise.
5) Ability to learn the resources used in the organism in energy systems.
