Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to provide the students an overall view of the mechanics of Turkish economy.
Course Content: The important processes of change and development observed in the Turkish economy will be associated with international economic and political breaks. In this context, processes and concepts such as national economy, statism, liberal harmony, imported substitution period, open capital domination period, financialization, hot money period will be processed with details.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Will be able to recognize the structure of the Turkish economy.
2) Will be able to analyze the economic policies implemented in the Turkish economy.
3) Will be able to examine current economic data and problems in Turkey.
