Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: To teach basic principles of analytical chemistry and interpretation of experimental data using classical analytical chemistry and instrumental analysis methods.
Course Content: Calculations in analytical chemistry, errors in chemical analysis, gravimetry, volumetry, sample preparation methods, introduction to spectroscopy, optical instrument components, atomic spectroscopy, molecular spectroscopy.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students will learn the basic chemical principles in analytical chemistry.
2) Students will learn to evaluate experimental data.
3) Gain the necessary skills to obtain analytical data.
4) Students will have knowledge about analysis techniques.
