Course Objectives: | It covers advanced topics of occupational health and safety such as ethics, labor law, sustainability, human relations and communication in the workplace, etc. Strengthening OHS awareness and responsibility on students by working through relations with concepts. |
Course Content: | Repetition of OHS Concepts; Personal Protective Equipment; Occupational Health and Safety in the Design, Manufacturing and Use of Work Equipment; Accidents at work; Health Surveillance and Occupational Diseases; OHS Controls and Documents; Groups Requiring Special Policies in Working Life; Shift Work; OHS and Ethics; Ethics in Working Life; Impact of Engineering Solutions on Health, Environment and Society; OHS and Sustainability; Adult Education, Workplace Health and Safety Education and Communication; Relations with Labor Law and OHS |
