Course Objectives: | 1.Develop a fundamental understanding of analytical chemistry principles. 2.Acquire information on analytical techniques and instrumentation relevant to chemical engineering. 3.Apply analytical methods for qualitative and quantitative analysis in chemical engineering experiments. 4.Learn data analysis techniques and interpretation of analytical results. 5.Appreciate the role of analytical chemistry in solving real-world chemical engineering problems. |
Course Content: | This course focuses on the principles and techniques of analytical chemistry as applied to chemical engineering. It covers an in-depth understanding of analytical methods, analytical instrumentation, and data analysis. Students will gain skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis, calibration techniques, and data interpretation. Emphasis will be placed on applications in the field of chemical engineering. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) The students will have ability to solve advanced problems in analytical chemistry. They will be informed to perform a chemical analysis in different media with various types of samples, being capable of evaluating the results. The subjects on novel methods of instrumental analysis and their theory will enable them to have the basic information required for their future professional life. |
