Course Objectives: |
The purpose of the business internship in chemical engineering is to prepare the student to take part in all operations and processes in the production of a substance, from the raw material stage to the produced substance stage. The internship studies that the chemical engineer, who has an inevitable place in the feasibility processes, planning, design, operation, control, simulation, optimum solutions, research and development of the factory, are obliged to do during his professional education should also be in this field and direction. |
Course Content: |
What is learned during the internship should largely cover the following items: Learning the history of the institution, its place in the industry and its function; Understanding the applied process and flow chart; Making mass and energy balance calculations on the flow chart; Obtaining information about the function, structure, operating conditions and maintenance of the units involved in the process; Drawing a diagram by learning the pipe and instrumentation system; Learning process control and quality control mechanisms. |
