Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to develop the academic reading and writing skills that students need during their psychology education, to learn how to write a scientific article, and to provide basic knowledge and skills on expressing themselves using APA style while writing an article.
Course Content: The scope of this course includes scanning the literature and reading it critically, academic writing and reporting techniques and rules in psychology, ethical principles and preventing plagiarism, argument development and discussion skills, communication of scientific knowledge and presentation skills.
