Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: To introduce the general features of production methods related to industrial design; To explain relevant aspects of production processes according to material types.
Course Content: his course contains extensive information about the main production processes (21 production processes). By discussing all the production processes of the material types we will use in our designs, finally information is given about material selection criteria and material-related problems.

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Ability to explain basic concepts, processes and terminology of production techniques
2) Understanding the history and evolution of traditional and modern production techniques
