Course Objectives: | Facility design and planning, which is of interest to many engineering branches and other disciplines, aims to decide on the selection of the establishment location that will enable the activities to be carried out in the most effective way in service or production areas and to use all activities and resources within the organization in the most appropriate way to meet the requirements. |
Course Content: | Facility Location Selection and Facility Arrangement, Facility Site Selection and Analysis Methods in Facility Arrangement, Valuation Methods in Site Selection, Basic Facility Placement Problems, Fixed Cost Site Selection Analysis, Placement Regions That Cannot Be Assigned, Continuous Facility Placement Problems, Algorithms Used in Computer Aided Facility Placement |
