Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: Bu dersin amacı;implant malzeme olarak kullanılan biyomalzemeleri tanıtmak, çeşitleri hakkında bilgiler sunmak, malzeme seçimi, dizaynı ve kullanımındaki başarısızlıkların nedenlerini araştırmaktır.
Course Content: Biyomalzeme kelimesinin tanımı ve sınıflandırılması / Polimer, metalik, seramik ve kompozit implant malzemeler / İmplant malzemelerin sterilizasyonu / İmplant malzeme kullanımının avantajları ve sakıncaları /Korozyon

1) Çeşitli malzeme türleriyle ilgili bilgiye erişebilme ve bu amaçla kaynak araştırması yapabilme, veri tabanları ve diğer bilgi kaynaklarını kullanabilme becerisi

3) Bilgiye erişerek kendini yenileme becerisi kazanma
4) Biyomalzemelerin seçimi konusunda bilgi edinilmesi.
