Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: 1. Understanding of Gas, Liquid, and Solid Pollutants and Pollution-Causing Elements in Chemical Engineering and Methods of Removal
2. Learning Environmental Quality Standards
Course Content: Gas pollutants, their effects, and removal; Water pollutant elements and removal; detergents, marine pollution, solid wastes, pesticides

1) Learning about the importance of environmental protection
2) The ability to use chemical engineering knowledge in the removal of pollutants
3) Interpreting and presenting pollution limit values
4) Learning about current different treatment methods for pollutants
