Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: To ensure familiarity with basic dosage forms and their characterization, as well as the determination of their properties in physical pharmacy topics, stability, quality control, single-phase and multi-phase systems, preparations prepared with herbal and animal drugs, pharmaceutical water, basic pharmaceutical processes, and equipment.
Course Content: In addition to an introduction to dosage forms, phase diagrams, solubility, solutions, and kinetics in physical pharmacy, topics should include viscosity, rheology, surface tension, stability, preparation methods for basic dosage forms and preparations prepared by extraction, as well as quality controls and stabilities
