Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: Examination of renewable energy sources and application systems, today, having great importance and demand.
Course Content: The distribution of energy production and consumption in the world and in Turkey, according to sources, energy production and consumption of renewable energy and environmental issues arising from the evaluation of this aspect / Solar Energy/ Geothermal Energy / Wind Energy / OTEC / Wave Power / Tidal Energy / Biomass Energy.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students shall gain kowledge on renewable energy plants
2) To gain knowledge on solar, geothermal, wind, otec, wave, tidal and biomass energy and applications
3) To gain experience on following up current and modern topics about mechanical engineering
