Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: It is aimed for students to gain awareness about their own communication styles and their strengths and areas open to development in communication. Moreover; It is aimed to increase both their personal and corporate success thanks to the effective communication skills they acquire. Lesson; It aims to develop students' ability to think, analyze and discuss about the field of communication.

Course Content: Course content; Definition, elements and characteristics of communication and effective communication, language used, self-awareness, effective listening and feedback, factors that hinder and facilitate communication, persuasive communication, the role and use of emotions in communication, effective communication techniques, conflict in communication and its prevention, non-verbal communication skills. , rules of behavior in social life; It includes the adoption of good manners and courtesy, communication practices and relations of communication with other disciplines.
