Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: It is aimed to transfer the disaster situations and disaster awareness that exist throughout the world and whose effect is increasing day by day to the students, to inform individuals about the behavior patterns and social organization in extreme situations, to inform individuals about the basic concepts related to disaster, the measures to be taken and various types of disasters, natural or artificial disaster situations, to create disaster culture awareness, to be prepared and conscious of the student and his environment.
Course Content: It includes the creation of disaster awareness, types and contents of disasters, behavioral patterns in related situations, preparedness and precautions, individual and social awareness and intervention.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To be able to intervene in social memory and the individual when necessary for the student
2) Be competent to protect themselves, their family and their environment
3) To be competent to raise awareness of himself, his family and his environment
