| Istanbul Health and Technology University Faculty of Pharmacy was established in 2020. The training period is 5 years. The Faculty consists of Pharmacy Basic Sciences, Pharmacy Vocational Sciences, Pharmacy Technology Departments. Our training program is planned according to the National Pharmacy Core Training program. The language of education is Turkish. Students must have earned at least 300 ECTS credits to graduate after successful completion of the five-year program courses. In addition to the theoretical courses, the training program also includes practical courses. The basic and vocational courses and elective courses specified in the program are given by the Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Toxicology, Pharmaceutical Technology Departments and some other departments within our University. In addition, Field Orientation courses and Internships, which are included in the education program and must be taken in the 5th year, are carried out under the coordination of the Dean's Office. Internship trainings are given in the pharmaceutical industry, practice pharmacy including clinical pharmacy practices, free and hospital pharmacies, various research centers and laboratories and institutions specified in the internship directive. Graduates of our faculty graduate with the title of "pharmacist". The diplomas of our graduates are also registered by the Ministry of Health. Our faculty is located in Topkapı Campus of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Istanbul Health and Technology University. There are 4 lecture halls, 4 student laboratories, 1 conference hall, 1 library and computer facilities in our faculty. |
