Computer Engineering is a branch of engineering that deals with computer hardware, software fundamentals and computer applications, where design and production are at the highest level, and has many sub-fields. The Computer Engineering Department at our university is dedicated to providing a high-quality education that prepares students for successful careers in the ever-evolving field of computing. Our program is prepared in parallel with ABET and ACM accreditation requirements, to ensure rigorous standards of quality and relevance. We offer a comprehensive curriculum that integrates principles from both electrical engineering and computer science, providing students with a strong foundation in hardware and software design, systems integration, and computational theory. Our department is actively engaged in cutting-edge research and committed to excellence in teaching. Students have access to state-of-the-art laboratories and resources, fostering an environment that encourages innovation and hands-on learning. We emphasize critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork, equipping our graduates with the skills necessary to tackle complex engineering challenges. Our program covers core areas such as algorithms, data structures, computer architecture, software engineering, and cybersecurity. We also offer a range of elective courses that allow students to specialize in areas such as artificial intelligence, embedded systems, and network engineering. Our graduates are well-prepared for careers in industry, government, and academia, and are equipped to be leaders in the global technology landscape |
