Our Department of Architecture commenced its educational activities in the 2021–2022 academic year and, since its establishment, has adopted an innovative and dynamic program structure that meets the requirements of contemporary architectural education. Within the department, a design studio–oriented educational approach integrates theoretical knowledge with practice, aiming to equip students with the competencies required to meet sectoral expectations. In this context, in addition to core areas such as architectural design, building knowledge, and construction technologies, current digital design tools, modeling techniques, and advanced fabrication technologies are incorporated into the curriculum, with the aim of training students to be competitive in both national and international architectural practice. Furthermore, the department embraces an educational approach that promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and prioritizes sustainability and social responsibility, preparing graduates to adapt to rapidly evolving professional conditions.
