Course Objectives: | To prepare Master's and PhD students to conduct research by providing them with basic information about research planning, stages and research ethics. |
Course Content: | Research planning, Sources of error in research, Sampling concept and sampling methods, Types of research, Research editing, Data analysis and interpretation, Report writing, The concept of research ethics, The most common research ethics violations and methods to prevent them. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Understands the philosophy and fiction on which Quantitative Research is based. 2) Conducts literature review and defines the research question. 3) Determines the statistical hypotheses of the research. 4) He determines the type of research he will conduct according to its purpose. 5) He chooses statistical methods appropriate to the hypotheses he establishes. 6) Writes a research report. 7) It can define the concepts of research and publication ethics and the responsibilities of the researcher in ensuring that a study is ethically valid and reliable. |
