Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to enable students to improve their communication, training and consultancy skills on nutrition with healthy and sick individuals of all age groups, and to use different educational materials and methods in these trainings.
Course Content: Within the scope of this course; Methods of effective communication with healthy and sick individuals at various stages of life and in different age groups, skills of providing education and consultancy to these individuals or groups, difficulties that may be encountered and coping strategies will be discussed.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To be able to understand the definition, principles, training and consultancy methods of education and consultancy.
2) Ability to plan goals and behaviors regarding nutrition education
3) Ability to develop training plans and presentation techniques by understanding training methods and equipment.
4) Ability to plan goals and behaviors regarding nutrition counseling
5) Ability to develop training planning and consultancy skills on issues and behaviors appropriate to the nutritional characteristics of all age groups.
