Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: To explain the clinical features and causes of movement and function impairment observed after stroke, to ensure the understanding of the basic features of measurement, evaluation and neurophysiological approaches applied in stroke rehabilitation and to ensure that they are reflected in practice, and to develop problem-solving skills in the field of post-stroke physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Course Content: Bobath, Johnstone and Brunnstrom techniques, which are neurophysiological approaches in hemiplegia/paresis rehabilitation, are performed according to their indications and effects on body parts, evaluation and analysis of the results.

1) Describes the Bobath approach to rehabilitation
2) Explains the Bobath technique and its effects on body parts in hemiplegia/paresis.
3) Understands Brunnstrom approaches in hemiplegia/paresis
