Course Objectives: |
In this course, it is aimed that nursing students gain knowledge and skills about literature search, reading, interpretation, discussion and report writing by using library and internet databases to access scientific information and research resources in nursing. |
Course Content: |
This course introduces the concepts related to literature within the scope of literature review and evaluation for nursing students, science research relationship, scientific research approach, scientific research process, characteristics of scientific article, nursing discipline and research, determining the research topic, the importance of literature review and review, literature definition, literature review, importance, benefits, steps, literature review plan, types of literature, primary, secondary sources, tertiary sources, access to library resources, major databases that can be used in the scientific field, databases related to nursing, journals and databases, accessing information by accessing databases, writing an article report, resource indication. |
