Course Objectives: |
The course provides the student with knowledge about the perioperative care of the patient who will undergo surgical intervention and enables the student to plan the holistic care of the surgical patient in line with current approaches. |
Course Content: |
The course includes surgical infections and infection control, wound healing and nursing care in burns, nursing care in shock and multiple organ failure syndrome, preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care, nervous system surgery, cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgical interventions, urinary system surgery, digestive system and digestive organs surgery, breast and endocrine system surgery, musculoskeletal system surgery, ear-nose-throat and eye surgery. |
