Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to develop a research project on a specific topic and to carry out the necessary experimental studies for this project. After that, it is taught to prepare a graduation thesis including all the theoretical and experimental studies.
Course Content: The content of this course is a specific scientific topic that each student chooses for research. The student carries out the theoretical and experimental studies together with his/her supervisor.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Gains knowledge of current scientific information about the research topic.
2) Plans and carries out experimental studies with the education he/she has received.
3) Analyses and interprets the experimental results which she/he has obtained during her/his experiments.
4) Plans the scope of his/her work on his/her own and prepares the work/time plan.
5) Carries out the studies related to the research subject in accordance with scientific and cultural ethical rules.
6) Organise all the data obtained in the form of a scientific thesis and present it to competent people in the field.
7) Within the scope of his / her work, he / she can benefit from foreign sources and make a review from them.

1) Since it is not a theoretical course, there is no weekly lesson plan. In accordance with the work plan to be created, the student is regularly monitored within the scope of his / her studies in accordance with the ‘course measurement methods based on the evaluation’. Scientific articles, visual and written sources. Data banks and online resources.

References: There is no specific book or printed source for the graduation project. The student utilises scientific articles, various written and web resources in order to carry out theoretical and experimental studies on the chosen topic.
