Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: This course aims to provide an understanding of the application of basic concepts and rules regarding professional ethics.
Course Content: This course includes the introduction of ethics and moral concepts, factors that play a role in the formation of morality, ethical levels, ethical rules, ethical systems, ethical behavior, professional ethics, professional ethics, ethical and unethical behavior in business life, professional corruption and ethical standard guide in professional life.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) The student can define the concepts of ethics and morality.
2) Learns the principles of professional ethics from the Psychologists Association Ethical Standards Manual.
3) The client may review the principles regarding the responsibility to maintain confidentiality.
4) The client can describe the basic features of the consent form.
5) Client-Psychologist can gain awareness about abuse in relationships.
6) The student can understand the necessary components of ethical decision-making and complaint processes.
