Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: The main objective of this course is to teach students the approaches and principles of literary translation in theory and practice. Literary texts and literary styles based on various genres will be analyzed for translation purposes.
Course Content: This course consists of the basic features and linguistic structure of literary texts as well as translation and translation criticism exercises on excerpts taken from various novels and short stories.
