Course Objectives: | This course deals with basic economic principles that help us understand the process of decision making by consumers, firms and society. |
Course Content: | In this course, as an introduction, basic topics such as economic event, the parties of the economic event, their behavior patterns, utility and profit maximization, formation and calculation of national income, money and its functions, economic growth and economic systems will be covered. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To be able to explain the basic concepts and assumptions in economic theory as an introduction to economics and develop the ability to work with graphics 2) 2. Should be able to analyze consumer balance. 3) Should be able to perform producer balance analysis. 4) Market equilibrium analysis and different markets should be able to express how different equilibria occur. 5) Should be able to explain and comment on the factor market, factors of production and their share of production. 6) Should be able to explain basic issues such as the formation of general balance and national income, money and its functions, economic growth and economic systems |
