Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: It focuses on protecting and improving the health of individuals, families and different segments of society. Within the scope of this course, students gain basic knowledge about acquiring and maintaining healthy lifestyle behaviors, planning, implementing and evaluating behavior change strategies.
Course Content: This course covers concepts of health protection and promotion, health promotion models, and national and international policies related to health promotion.
